1. Who we are
POSITIVI-TEES is a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales, company number 14458914. In these terms, "we", "us" and "POSITIVI-TEES" mean that company, and "you" means the school, organisation or individual booking a workshop.
2. Public liability insurance
POSITIVI-TEES holds public liability insurance, policy number CHBS4339733XB.
A copy of the certificate is available on request — most schools and venues ask for this as part of their booking paperwork, and we're happy to send it over before your session. Just get in touch and we'll email it across.
To confirm with Henry: insurer name, level of cover and renewal date — worth stating them here so schools don't have to ask.
3. Safeguarding
All workshop leads hold enhanced DBS certificates. We follow the safeguarding policy of the setting we're working in, and we ask that a member of your staff remains present throughout any session involving children or young people.
4. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the date, group size, session length and price in writing. Prices are quoted per booking and depend on the number of participants, the length of the session and travel.
5. What each side provides
We bring all materials, protective coverings and aprons. We ask the venue to provide the space, tables and chairs, access to water, and time either side of the session to set up and clear down. The full list is on our requirements page section.
6. Cancellation
To confirm with Henry: notice period and any charge for late cancellation or postponement (for example, free more than 14 days out, 50% within 7 days).
7. Photography
We often photograph workshops for our website and social media. We will only do so with the setting's permission and in line with your own consent arrangements — tell us in advance if photography isn't permitted and we won't take any.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else which cannot legally be limited. Our workshops involve paints and fabric inks; while everything we use is non-toxic and age-appropriate, we ask that you tell us in advance about any allergies or additional needs so we can plan around them.
